Skyline Offices charity bike rides

This summer, Skyline Offices will be embarking on not one but two long-distance bike rides in aid of two fantastic charitable causes.

On Sunday 15th June, we will be taking part in the 39th annual London-Brighton ride in aid of the British Heart Foundation. Training is well underway for this 54 mile journey, covering some fairly grueling hills in the South Downes area, and finishing on Brighton sea front. Over the last four decades, this event has been instrumental in funding some of the fantastic work done by the British Heart Foundation, from pioneering research to educating people about life-saving skills.

Having recovered from the London-Brighton ride, Skyline Offices will be on their bikes again on the 10th August for the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100. As the name suggests, this tough ride encompasses 100 miles of closed roads from the Olympic Park through to the beautiful Surrey countryside, with a triumphant finish back in London on the Mall. Cycling fans will recognise the route, since it is nearly identical to that followed by the professionals during the London 2012 Olympics. This is all in aid of Orphans of Ghana, an amazing charity supporting some of the world’s most deprived orphans, aiming to improve the lives of all orphaned children in Ghana.

If you would like to find out more about either of these events, further information can be found online, and we hope we can count on your support.
