Four new tenants have agreed to take space in
what is currently the Square Mile’s tallest building. Over 100,000 sq ft is now
let or under option at the tower since the turn of the year.
Pensions company Partnership Assurance, has
signed for the building's lowest four storeys of office space. Other new
tenants include: Securis Investment Partners, the insurance linked securities
managers; Westhouse Securities, the corporate and institutional stockbroking
group and Salesforce, the US-headquartered CRM software solutions and cloud
computing firm.
Gerald Ronson, chief executive of Heron
International, said: “We are very pleased to be starting work to make way for
our next project in the City of London at the same time as welcoming four
further companies to our award-winning office development.
"Heron Tower is a very impressive
building, but it is also one that makes business sense: sustainable features
mean running costs are very low, the design of the office floors maximises
daylight and provides an optimum working environment, and its location next to
one of London’s main transport hubs puts it in an ideal location for commuting
and business travel. There is strong interest in the remaining floors and we
look forward to welcoming further tenants soon.”
CBRE and Savills are the lettings agents on
Heron Tower.
