It was reported this week that the two agents have been shortlisted to pitch to the Malaysian consortium behind the project: a final decision is expected imminently. It is understood that the consortium will select two agents and had been considering pitches from Cushman & Wakefield, CBRE, Jones Lang LaSalle, Lunson Mitchenall, Bruce Gillingham Pollard, CWM and twentyretail. In January, Jones Lang LaSalle was picked as international residential sales agent for Battersea Power Station.

The redevelopment will eventually comprise of 510,000 sq. ft. of shops and circa 200,000 sq. ft. of food, beverage and leisure space alongside 3,400 residential units, more than 1.7m sq. ft. of office space, two hotels with 400 bedrooms and a 160,000 sq. ft. events hall. The site was acquired through a special purpose vehicle called Battersea Project Holding Company Ltd, in which S P Setia and Sime Darby have a 40% stake each with EPF holding the remaining 20%.
