Colliers International has recruited Stuart Melrose, a TMT sector tenant rep specialist, from Studley as a director in the
West End Offices team.
Prior to his
role at Studley Melrose previously worked for Edward Charles & Partners and
Grubb & Ellis and was vice-president for Grubb & Ellis in San Francisco
for five years.
David Hume,
Head of Tennant Rep, Colliers International said: “Stuart’s appointment has
been driven by client demand and particularly from technology and media
occupiers. One of Stuart’s main roles will be to focus on the TM sector and
underpin our commitment to establish ourselves as a market leader in this
important sector in London.
“Stuart has
extensive experience in advising occupiers. What sets him apart from the rest
of the market when it comes to advising the tech and media sector is the five
years he spent working as a vice-president at Grubb & Ellis in San
Francisco, a city often regarded as the incubator for the burgeoning tech and
media companies.
"Stuart’s
knowledge and understanding of TM, coupled with Colliers’ global platform, will
help to propel us to be one of the leading players in advising occupiers in
this sector.”
This is the
second new hire in Colliers’ West End Offices team in the last couple of months
and the company plans further recruits. Jack Benson recently joined the tenant
rep team in the West End.
